Accessibility Statement

We build websites that work for everyone, and this one should too. Here is the standard we hold it to, how we check it, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

1. Our Commitment

XOCO WEB SRL (CUI 45465782, Registration No. J20/46/2022, EUID ROONRC.J20/46/2022) wants everyone to be able to use xocoweb.com, whatever their ability and whatever assistive technology they use. We build and test the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which also covers the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Romania by Law no. 232/2022).

2. What We Do

  • Every page uses semantic HTML, landmarks and a logical heading order, with a skip link to the main content.
  • Everything can be used with a keyboard alone, and every link and button shows a clear focus outline.
  • Text and interface colours meet WCAG AA contrast, including the accent colours you can switch to with the diamond on the home page.
  • The moving background on the home page has a pause button, and the illustrations play once and then stop.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off and the background stays still.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout adapts down to small phone screens without horizontal scrolling.

3. Conformance Status

We believe xocoweb.com conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We are not aware of any failures, but no website is perfect, so if you find one, please tell us and we will fix it.

4. How We Checked

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on September 23, 2026. Every page was tested with the axe-core automated accessibility engine at desktop and phone sizes, and checked by hand for keyboard use, focus order, reduced motion and zoom. We repeat these checks whenever the site changes in a way that could affect accessibility.

6. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection, ANPC (Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor), at anpc.ro (opens in a new tab), or to the relevant authority in your own EU member state.
