1. Why There Is No Cookie Banner
Under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended), implemented in Romania by Law no. 506/2004, and the GDPR, a site must ask for consent before storing or reading information on your device, unless that storage is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Everything this site stores falls into that exemption, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to click through. xoco is operated by XOCO WEB SRL (CUI 45465782, Registration No. J20/46/2022, EUID ROONRC.J20/46/2022).
2. What the Site Stores
xoco-accent (local storage in your browser). Saved only if you click the diamond on the home page to change the site's accent colour. It holds a colour code so the choice stays as you move between pages, and it is removed when you cycle back to the default colour. It never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and does not identify you.
Security cookies from Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts and protects this site. If its protections are triggered, for example by unusual traffic, it may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance to tell people apart from automated bots. They are used only for security, never for analytics or advertising. See Cloudflare's cookie policy (opens in a new tab).
3. What the Site Does Not Do
- No analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
- No advertising, remarketing or social media tracking.
- No third-party embeds: fonts and images are all served from this site itself.
Contact links open your own email app. Once you email us, our Privacy Policy explains how that message is handled.
4. Managing Storage in Your Browser
You can view or delete cookies and local storage for this site at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them only resets the accent colour to the default.
5. Changes
If we ever add analytics or any other optional storage, we will update this page first, and those tools will only run after you have agreed to them.
